Being a person who is very interested in design, I make it a point to keep track of the latest developments in the nail art industry. My nail tech Stephanie, who is the finest there is, and I meet every few weeks to discuss the upcoming season’s hottest nail art trends and figure out what designs we want to focus on the most. My nail looks for the remainder of 2022 are already sorted out, but that does not mean that I am not interested in seeing what other people will be wearing throughout the cooler months. I never stop taking screenshots of outfits to use as future inspiration, regardless of the time of year.

I reached out to three different celebrity nail artists to get the dirt. They shared their thoughts on which nail art patterns and colors they thought would be popular in winter. Continue reading to discover what they had to say about it. Please visit Maby blog to update the latest nail news.

1. Chrome

This season, according to Mazz Hanna, CEO of Nailing Hollywood, chrome nails will be ubiquitous in the beauty industry. It may include someone rocking a frosted silver tint or utilizing a chrome nail pen to give any color a glossy sheen. Both of these trends are becoming increasingly popular.

2. Ombré shades

She also predicts that ombré nails will be popular, especially the sort that can be done at home with manicure strips. “Specifically, the kind that you can make at home with nail strips,” reveals Hanna. “The nail strip products that you can use at home have gone such a long way, and they make it easy to obtain a beautiful and long-lasting manicure in the comfort of your own home.”

3. Rich, dark nail colors

All of the nail professionals we spoke to agreed that in winter, the most popular nail colors would be deep, rich colors like electric blue, burgundy, and purple. Holly Falcone, a famous nail artist, is a supporter of this brand. “Nails in natural shapes (think squoval or rounded) with really dark and rich colors are my go-to for giving off a ‘boss ass bitch’ feeling,” she says. “This looks wonderful on long nails as well as little ones,” the author says.

4. Dark matte

Zola Ganzorigt, a celebrity nail artist, recommends going for a matte finish throughout the cold months. Use a matte topcoat on your dark winter nail polish to create the impression that the hue is even more mysterious. Matte nail polish has the added benefit of making your fingernails look like your favorite comfortable sweater.

5. Sombre and french

During the colder months, Falcone enjoys adding a little bit of flare to a timeless design. In the winter, I prefer to switch up my French manicure by choosing a milky or translucent base and a dark hue for the tip rather than the traditional pink and white. One nail polish that works wonderfully for this purpose is Chanel’s Les Vernis in Desir.

6. Ultra-feminine designs

According to Falcone, the styles that are going to be most popular this season are those that lean more classically feminine. According to her, “Nail art designs that stress femininity with pinks and flowers are undoubtedly going to be trending this season and into 2023,” and she says that these kinds of designs will continue to be popular until 2023. Nail art that looks like pink gingham or antique flowers may be achieved with the help of high-end nail sticker decals or diligent practice. Pink gingham with antique florals is sweet and stunning at the same time.

7. Confetti for a holiday party

Falcone loves getting into the spirit of the holidays by donning a festive costume. For a colorful confetti effect, choose metallic toppers like the nail stickers in Disco Dust by Holly Falcone x Manime or bright neon confetti toppers like the ones by Orly x Lisa Frank called Your Lucky Star. Orly x Lisa Frank Hits the Spot! is my go-to, and I usually apply two or three applications. With the right confetti topping, even plain nails may seem party-ready for the holidays.

8. Hidden glitter

The term “Louboutin nails” refers to an earlier iteration of the peekaboo nail trend, which got its name from the brand’s famous red-soled heels. Nevertheless, the trend has since developed into many more gorgeous iterations. The two-toned style, which was designed by Soji Nails, was recently seen on models at the Maisie Wilen Show that took place during NYFW, according to Park, who notes that the trend has recently made an appearance. This is the most festive glitter nail polishes for the holiday season, a clever way to utilize the additional space and add a touch of glitter to your look, especially since longer nails are becoming increasingly popular.

9. Pearl’s nails

Iridescence was not only fashionable for nails in 2023 but also for jewelry and interior design, according to Pinterest, which stated that pearl core was one of the most popular trends of the year 2023. Pearls have always had a significant influence on the manicures worn during weddings, and now they are also a popular trend for the winter season. Pearls will undoubtedly get people talking, regardless of how many you choose to wear or how little you wear.
